The Almhüttendorf Turracher Höhe with its villages Almdorf Turrach and Almdorf Sonnleitn is located on the Turracher Höhe mountain pass, at 1,711 metres above sea level. It consists of 30 huts and a restaurant amid Europe's largest Swiss stone pine forest.The huts feature a fully equipped kitchen, a dining corner, a living room with a wood-burning oven and free of charge firewood. They also have a terrace or a balcony. Some units feature a wood-fired sauna.
Typical Carinthian and Styrian specialties can be enjoyed in the restaurant on site. On request fresh bread rolls can be delivered to your door every morning.
The slopes can be reached via a ski path, across the street. You can also use the free shuttle service taking you to the ski schools and ski lifts and back again.

From late May through November the picturesque town of Turracher Höhe at an altitude of almost 1.800 m above sea level presents a magnificent pageant. The scenic interplay of the high peaks and the three idyllic mountain lakes Turracher See, Schwarzsee and Grünsee makes it a place of outstanding beauty.
Almhüttendorf Turracher Höhe
The Almhüttendorf Turracher Höhe is located on the Turracher Höhe mountain pass, at 1,711 metres above sea level. It consists of 30 huts and 2 restaurants amid Europe's largest stone pine forest.
The huts feature a fully equipped kitchen, a dining corner, a living room with a wood-burning oven and 2 or more bedrooms. They also have a terrace or a balcony, a sauna and an infra-red cabin.
Typical Carinthian and Styrian specialities can be enjoyed in the restaurants on site. A mini market is there as well and on request fresh bread rolls can be delivered to your door every morning.
The slopes can be reached via a ski path. You can also use the free shuttle service taking you to the ski schools and ski lifts and back again.

COTTAGES »WALDBLICK CHALET«: FOR 14 PERSONS:
Newly furnished Waldblick Chalets offer a warm and elegant atmosphere without wanting to be stylish and modern. It is meant for up to 14 guests. It has a living room with a fireplace, modern kitchen and terrace. It has beautiful view of pine trees surrounding the village. On the three floors of the chalet there are six bedrooms with double beds (180 cm x 200 cm) and a sauna with a sauna relax room, which can be used as an additional bedroom (Queen sice bed 140 cm x 200 cm). It also has several tv sets and free WiFi.
COTTAGES »SONNLEITN CHALET«: A6:
Cottage for 6 people. On the bottom floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room with a convertible sofa, fireplace, dining area and sunny terrace. The upper floor offers two cozy bedrooms that each have a double and single bed, and for your relaxation there is also a sauna. The house has a TV and free WiFi.
CHALET »EISENHUT«: A4:
For 4 persons. On the ground floor there is a living room and kitchen with a dining area and a bathroom. On the upper floor there are two double-bed bedrooms. The kitchen has a dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a fireplace, a sauna, a TV and free Wi-Fi.
ALMRAUSCH LODGE: UP TO 8 PERSONS:
Almrausch Lodge is one of the big houses for up to 8 persons, placed on the hillside and offering a beautiful view. The spacious living room with dining area, fireplace and integrated kitchen is situated on the ground floor and heading towards the terrace with wooden hot tub and a barbecue. On this floor you also find a bathroom, sauna and toilet. On the upper floor 3 double rooms, ab big balcony and a second bathroom offer generous space and privacy for all guests. Standard in all MarktlAlm houses are free WiFi and TV sets.
APARTMENT SONNRAIN: 4 PERSONS:
The Sonnrain Apartment is the smallest unit and is suited for 4 people. The cozy living room with kitchen and dining area offers a gorgeous view over the mountains. Besides a fully equipped kitchen there is a TV and free WiFi. Outside there is a small terrace with a sauna. It also has two double-bed bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet
SONNRAIN LODGE - 8 PERSONS:
The Sonnrain Lodge is higher on the hill and has an amazing view of the mountains. It has 4 spacious double-bed bedrooms on the upper floor, where there is also a bathroom and a balcony on each side of the house. On the lower floor there is a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Right next to the entrance there is a sauna and hot tub. Of course there is also a TV and free WiFi.
WALDBLICK LODGE: FOR 12 PERSONS:
The Waldblick Lodge is meant for 12 persons. On the ground floor there is a bedroom, a spacious living room with a big dining table, a fully equipped kitchen and a fireplace oven. The upper floor has 4 more bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. In the basement there is another bedroom, a wellness relax room, a bathroom, WC and outdoor zone with a hot tub and sauna.

In the event of no show, a cancellation fee of 100% of the booked holiday’s value is due. Cancellations must be made without delay and in writing. In addition to any cancellation fees the contractual partner shall, in the event that he or she cancels or reduces the holiday, pay an administrative fee of € 25.00. It is also possible to transfer the holiday to a third party prior to the holiday’s commencement.
Booking alterations and requests for changes must be in writing and only become effective once we have received them.
