Thalassotherapy ( in Greek: thalassa = sea) is an important
branch of medicinal activity, using sea products to prevent
and to cure, both, in rehabilitation as well as in
cosmetics. (Pools will be closed
4.7. - 13.7.) For over a century, our health resort has been
using sea products originating from the salt pans of Sečovlje,
where for over 700 years a salt has been extracted in a
traditional way. During this process, two side products are
produced - salt pan mud and brine, both of them having
healing effects.
