Thalassotherapy ( in Greek: thalassa = sea) is an important branch of medicinal activity, using sea products to prevent and to cure, both, in rehabilitation as well as in cosmetics. (Pools will be closed 4.7. - 13.7.)For over a century, our health resort has been using sea products originating from the salt pans of Sečovlje, where for over 700 years a salt has been extracted in a traditional way. During this process, two side products are produced - salt pan mud and brine, both of them having healing effects.

Accommodation: The Neptun Hotel is a four-star hotel. 89 spacious double rooms and suites come equipped with a private bathroom (shower or bath), mini-bar, satellite TV and telephone.

Hotel Neptun is fully air-conditioned.

Rooms: (air-condition, sat-tv, mini-bar, phone); shower/wc, hair-drier; rooms are also suitable for families with children.

Dining: Opening hours of the hotel restaurant is from 7 a.m., for early buffet breakfast, to 10 a.m., for guests who prefer to stay in bed longer. Just like in other hotels of the complex, dinner is served from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Room service is available upon request and extra charged for.

There is no bar within the hotel. However, in the immediate vicinity hotel Apollo offers a possibility to have a chat with a friend over a tea, a coffee or over a glass of wine in its bar. Should you climb few stairs further on from hotel Apollo, you will find yourselves in the lobby bar of the Mirna hotel. On the other hand, should you decide to go down the stairs towards the seafront, you will find many other small bars.

Entertainment: Grand Hotel Palace presents a rich entertainment program for children and adults.

Terme & Wellness Palace is a renowned Slovenian health resort, centre of health, beauty and general wellness, where the age old tradition of thalassotherapy intertwines with the modern medical knowledge. Throughout Slovenia, the Terme & Wellness Palace is recognized as a unique centre of its kind thanks to five local natural medicinal factors, which are employed in relaxation, beauty and therapeutic treatments: salt pan mud - fango, brine - Acqua Madre, climate, the sea and thermomineral water.

We successfully employ five natural medicinal factors in five connected thermal centres: Thalasso centre, Massage centre, Beauty centre, Physiotherapy centre and Thermal recreational centre.

Terme & Wellness Palace cover an area of 7,500 m2 which, beside the above mentioned five thermal centres, also includes the unique sauna complex: Sauna Park.

Terme & Wellness Palace is open throughout the year, from 07:00 to 21:00 hours.

Salt pan mud is a recognised natural healing agent which alleviates degenerative and inflammatory ( rheumatic) diseases of the locomotor system, postoperative conditions and conditions caused by injuries of the locomotor system, skin and gynaecological diseases and diseases of the respiratory system.

Along with mud and brine, there are other natural factors, such as sea salt, alagae, sea water and climate, that, under the professional supervision, can be converted in a healing touch of the sea and have a beneficiary effect on your body and mind.
