LOCATION:
Moravske Toplice is situated in the
extreme northeast of Slovenia in the middle of Prekmurje where the
Goričko hills flow gently onto the Pannonian flatlands. The modern
tourist and health resort complex gently blends with the green
surroundings of this romantic landscape.
The Panonian sea which was in this area by the time of the Cenozoic
era of the earth´s history has slowly disappeared and what remained
was types of stone like marl, sandstone, natural gas and oil. Thus
we can find at greater depths somewhere around 1,500 m amidst layers
of sandstone remains of the once Panonian sea. By way of absorption
they now lie in porous stone and since we can excavate them by means
of the modern technology these remains well up in form of
thermomineral water.
TERME
3000
With TERME 3000 the sum total of
water area has risen to 5.000 m2 complete with twenty baths and
swimming pools in that bathers can choose between outdoor and indoor
baths and swimming pools. Eleven new pools arranged on two levels
offer interesting programs and attractions: a torrent, hydro-pneumatic
sunbeds, geysers, waterfalls, water massage, air massage, upstream
swimming, swimming lanes, water currents and bubble-baths.
Additionally there is a diving pool with a one-meter springboard and
a three-meter springboard; the biggest attraction, however, is a 22-meter
platform with two water slides, 170 m and 140 m respectively,
complete with audio and visual effects. TERME 3000 also features a
Turkish and a Finnish sauna, a solarium, a children’s playground,
various restaurants and a bar. Spacious grass surfaces in the
immediate neighbourhood offer plenty of cozy shade.
WELLNESS CENTRE THERMALIUM
The
Centre of relaxation, beauty and well-being Thermalium, which is
placed in the very heart of rich Prekmurje plain, offers a unique
experience of feeling the complete care, ?lled with positive energy
of curative secrets and techniques of our professional personnel,
which, according to our mission, takes care of well-being of a
modern person, renewed in the synergy with nature.
The source and spring of health in the Thermalium Centre – the Eden
of peace, relaxation and renovation for your body and soul – is the
unique “black” thermal water, which springs from the depth of 1175
to 1467 metres. Temperature of the spring is 72 degrees Celsius,
which makes this natural “miracle” so unique, as any other
hydro-carbonated waters are usually cold. On this basis from the depths of the ex Pannonic Sea was proclaimed a natural
curative medicine. This “black” thermal water does not only have
therapeutic effects on the human body.

modern therapeutic centre is the perfect place for therapy and
rehabilitation of a wide range of rheumatic diseases, skin
conditions, and injury or post-operative damage to the musculature.
GOLF
COURSE LIVADA MORAVSKE TOPLICE
IThe
golf course sprawls on more than 50 ha of surface and like some
green park surrounds the whole tourist place. It offers a lot of
enjoyment to the beginners as well as experienced golfers. Surely most fascinating as far as thrills and
challenge are concerned is the hole Nr. 9 measuring almost 600 m in
length – the longest Slovenian hole.
SPORT
The Natural park TERME 3000 Moravske Toplice has a lot to offer as
regards sport and recreation. Apart from the golf course guests can
enjoy in the great sport’s park. On the plateau covered with
artificial lawn one could place:
- three tennis courts, or
- three badminton courts, or
- three basketball courts, or
- three volleyball courts, or
- three handball courts.
